Hello! I'm Arnieno Maraan, a tech enthusiast and homelab hobbyist. My journey into the world of technology began with my brother's purchase of a NUC, which sparked my interest in building my own homelab. I immersed myself in various online communities, including self-hosted and homelab subreddits, where I discovered the power of open-source software.

My exploration led me to TinyMiniMicro by ServeTheHome, inspiring me to research available hardware options in my country. I eventually acquired a Micro Dell Optiplex 3080, upgrading it with 16GB of RAM and a combination of 512GB and 1TB SATA storage.

As I delved deeper into homelabbing, I became a fan of Tteck's scripts, which simplify the creation of LXC containers and virtual machines in Proxmox VE. My homelab runs on Proxmox VE Community Edition and hosts various applications, including Nginx for DNS management, Adguard for DNS rewrites, Tailscale for secure LAN connections, and Ghost for this very blog.

In addition to my homelab projects, I also assist my brother with his online chess tutoring platform, chesslearningacademy.com, where I manage DNS and other technical aspects. My passion for technology continues to grow as I explore new tools and solutions to enhance my homelab experience.
